MAY 25 - Sunday - Cavatelli pasta class - 2:30 p.m.
Cavatelli & Traditional Pasta Shapes
In this class, we’ll be making cavatelli, a rustic pasta traditionally made with just semolina flour and water—no eggs. The dough has a firm bite and a slightly nutty flavor thanks to the durum wheat. We’ll roll it by hand into long, slightly curved shapes, using only our fingers to carve each piece.
We’ll also explore a few other traditional shapes from different regions and islands of Italy, all using the same simple dough. It’s a relaxed, hands-on class focused on technique, tradition, and, of course, great pasta.
This is an instructional class only—no full meal will be served—but complimentary snacks and bottled water will be provided. Feel free to bring your own snacks or small bites if you'd like, and BYOB is welcome (age 21+)!
Duration of the class: 2.5-3 hours
